Do Kindness, Recklessly. @lexienoelleundem
Hey hey, friends. I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Lexie, and I’m the content creator behind @lexienoelleundem and The Undem Family Adventures.
Around here I share our travels, positivity and encouragement, trauma healing, gentle parenting, DIY projects, recipes, products we love, and all the little moments in between that make up real life.
I believe in showing kindness, recklessly.
I believe that you are capable, valuable, and important.
I share pieces of my toxic and traumatic childhood in hopes that others feel less alone. You may not get to choose the circumstances you were raised in, but you can choose what comes next. You can choose to build something different. You can choose to create a life that feels safe, joyful, and full of love.
I cannot promise that the healing process will be easy, but I can promise this: I will always be here cheering you on.
I never dreamed that I would have a family, let alone one as beautiful as the one we have today.
In May of 2020 we welcomed our busy, beautiful baby girl, Carolynn Rose. She is the true light of our lives and seems to brighten every room she walks into. She’s funny, intelligent, and don’t even get me started on how strong-willed she is. No idea where she got that from.
In September of 2023 we completed our family with the birth of our son, Camden Michael. He is the sweetest, bubbly little guy who keeps us smiling with his giggles and is learning and growing more every day.
Around here you’ll find a little bit of everything that makes up our life. I share motivation, real-life motherhood, family adventures, projects we love to tackle, and recipes we actually enjoy making and eating.
If you’re looking for brand collaborations, discount codes, or products we love, you can find them all on the Links page. Using my links helps support my family, and I truly appreciate every single one of you who follows along and supports our journey.
A little more about me.
I’m a North Dakota girl, born and raised.
Growing up I was always a bit of a tomboy, and that hasn’t changed much. I still love spending as much time outside as possible, whether that’s exploring, traveling, or just enjoying the fresh air with my family.
I’m married to my best friend, Shane. We actually met through church camp and spent years as friends before we started dating in college.
After a few months of dating, Shane transferred to the same university I was attending in Dickinson, North Dakota. Not long after he moved, we bought our home in December of 2015 and rescued our beautiful German Shepherd, Nikita.
With Nikita’s help, Shane proposed in January of 2017, and on September 1, 2018, we tied the knot surrounded by family and friends. It was the beginning of the life we had always dreamed of building together.
Today our home is full of adventure, laughter, and a little bit of chaos as we raise our family, travel when we can, and enjoy all the little moments that make life meaningful..
Spending time with friends and family-probably smoking food on our Traeger!
Outside going for a walk, tending to my garden, or playing with Valkyrie, our yellow lab.
Traveling! We set a goal to visit all 50 states including all 59 national parks!
